COURSE L817 Start at Clearway sign 300 metres North of Kendal Rugby Club on the A6 out of Kendal. Proceed North past the Plough Inn (4.3 miles), Kendal Caravans (formerly the Jungle Cafe – 6.5 miles), ascending Hucks Brow (8 miles) to finish at site of former telephone box (beside the wind gauge) on Shap Summit (9.1 miles).
