Kent Valley Road Club has donated £893 to charity - the surplus from last season's Midsummer open 10 miles time trial on Levens and the Edwin Howson Memorial 25 miles time trial the following day. Both events are run as 'no prizemoney', charity events and resulted in cheques for £583 being sent to Cancer Care and £310 to Cancer Research UK. And our Three Counties Challenge Sportive in August - organised jointly with Kendal Rotary Club - raised almost £1,000 for the Rotary Young Athletes Fund and other Rotary charities.
Subs became due this month and, unless the AGM decides otherwise, membership will cost the same as last year (just £10 for seniors). If you attend the AGM you can pay on the night!
Bruce Barnes has kindly offered to produce a membership/fixture card again and they may be available by then.
