AGM at Cricket Club

Our AGM is upstairs at Kendal Cricket Club on Thursday, January 30th, at 7.30pm. We have ordered a hotpot so that we have food for thought but there will be a vegetarian alternative. Please let me know by Friday, Jan 24th, if you want the vegetarian alternative.

Events for 2020

We have still to find a date for our planned two-day road race for 3/4th cats that we plan to stage in conjunction with Penrith's Beacon Wheelers, but all our club time trials will hopefully be approved this week by Cycling Time Trials North. So our provisional events list, including audax rides, for 2020 is attached though Tom Wall has plans for some day-long summer club runs that will be added to the list we post on our website in due course.

2020 club subscriptions now due

To move with the times we have now included our club bank account number and sort code on our membership form. You can still pay by cash or cheque but if you do prefer the convenience of transferring the money electronically you now have that option too, but do please include your name with the payment so our treasurer can keep track of who has paid what.

Motions for our AGM

If you have a motion to put before the club membership please let me (club secretary Richard Belk) have it by Friday, January 24th, so that it can be included on the AGM agenda. But motions can only be considered if they are on the agenda and both their proposer and a seconder are in attendance at the meeting. The AGM agenda will be sent out to you all that weekend.

Unclaimed long-sleeved top

We still have a large-size long-sleeved KVRC Giordana full-zip top that was left in the Glaxo Sports changing rooms at last year's Coast Road 21. No-one claimed it so it is now available for whoever would like it. We have washed it and it still has a lot of miles to go.
